Camera Shot Comments Blog Post.

The two blog posts I looked at were Sam credits and Asia studies.

The shots that Sam took were POV and extreme closeup. The extreme closeup shot he took was amazing and it had plenty of detail to showcase how much emotion that was put into the shot and how his eyes are able to tell the viewer what’s exactly happening during the moment, it looks like something you would see in a action movie where the protagonist is put in a situation of where they have to make a serious choice that could lead to a consequence in the long run. So this shot is pretty impactful in my opinion.

Another shot that Sam shoot was a POV shot, the shot looks like he’s greeting or welcoming someone inside. It gives a sort of chill vibe that feels calm and relaxed in a way that makes you feel at peace.

The Shots that Asia took were Establishing and extreme closeup. The shot she took was establishing and it shows a building. This shot feels heavy atmospheric and it gives a sort of life in a way. The sky and the clouds really reflect how alive the pictures feels, and gives an at ease feeling, it’s like star gazing in a way except you are just examining the building and looking at the beautiful and peaceful Sky.

The Second shot she had taken was extreme closeup. This shot makes the object that’s in front of it feel important as if it had some extreme value that many people would want to have, and it helps show many details up close that most people wouldn’t see unless they looked close enough. It looks like something you would see in a mysterious movie that doesn’t explain much but leaves slight clues to help the viewer figure out what’s the objective or message it’s trying to tell throughout the Film, this shot is decent in my opinion but it’s a pretty good shot either way.
