Supporting Character Analysis

Due to us having only one single character in the film we will describe the props.

Knife. The murder weapon and is constantly seen in the opener as something normal until slight blood can be seen on it.

Plate and Poptart wrapper: these two are together because they enact the same purpose together and not to mention meant to be thrown away with the knife in order to show signs of suspicion.

Cherry Poptart: the reason why we picked cherry is to represent violence or blood and such.

Toothbrush: used to distract the fact that the main character has bloody attire and such, the blood on the tooth brush is small but noticeable, to showcase slight signs of more violence.

New clothing: will be shown at the same time as the toothbrush scene to hint what’s seen instead of the toothbrush.

Blood-stained clothing: to show the actions the character did and to give us more further hints about his true nature and such.

Newspaper: meant to normal however is meant to make the viewer a bit uncomfortable due to all the scenes that they had watched before getting to this point.

Bloody child doll: the blood on the doll is meant to resemble his own child in a way in which he had murdered and killed.

Other dolls: the dolls are used to resemble the family and such, and how all of them are faced down meaning that they are dead.

Tv remote: mainly a filler prop.

Suitcase: this prop is seen being shoved into the trunk of a car, it’s a normal black suitcase with nothing odd with it, until it’s actually revealed that evidence is in it with the character taking it with them to leave no traces behind.
