Preparing to Film Blog Post.

 The easy parts about us preparing for filming would most likely be getting all the materials required for the production, such as costumes, filming, along with other props and such. The hard part will most likely be us trying to find the perfect moments and execution in terms of shots or angles in the film. For our roles . Patrick will do the editing, by cutting out any long scenes or unnecessary slopes that may get in the way of filming, while Payton will do filming to capture all of the shots and keep other important moments in terms of filming, and my task will be setting up the location and execution of the film, along with some shots coming from different houses on the inside in order to try and make it fit into the story as much as possible now, I will provide a brief description about how the actors, costumes, props, locations, dates and times, along with scripts and film equipment will be obtained and created before the filming starts.

Actors: right now we are trying to see if Payton’s father will cooperate with the voice acting and act as the main character shown in the film, while Patrick will be another actor, however only his hand would be shown and such.

Costumes: we don’t have much costumes necessary for this flim. However we got about two outfits, while the rest from the pile of clothes shot will be from the wardrobe.

Props: a knife, bloody dolls, fake blood, cherry pop tarts, paper place, and finally a tv remote. We already have the props ready as they already preexist and such. If we lack any props, we will buy them only for the film. 

Locations: Our locations will mainly be different parts of each of our homes, an example would be the kitchen belong to Patrick while the living room belongs to me and so on. 

Dates: We don’t have a confirmed date yet, as we are still trying to decide when we will execute our opener in the future.

Script: the opener has completely no dialogue and such our script is not fully set as we are still working on that as well but making progress so far.

Film Equipment:  we will use our phones as a main way of recording and such and if we are given an opportunity we will use any handheld cameras and such.  We will also using makeshift stands to hold our phones in place while we record and such. Each of us will take turns filming while Patrick helps cut out anything that’s unnecessary.
